One characteristic\u00a0of the Budapest conference is that it is\u00a0organised based on\u00a0regional organisation. While the past conferences mainly linked national organisers, the Budapest conference links several organisations from within its region. In such way the conference opens an opportunity to initiate discussions, projects and synergies around degrowth as well as to trigger cooperation with civil society, associations and political movements in these countries. The partnership is planned to be spread to different\u00a0regional initiatives and engage global organisations and movements.
